John and Cathy O’Connor have been welcoming
guests to Ophira, their family home for more than 30
years.
John and Cathy met through a mutual love of
adventure sports and the great outdoors. They
still enjoy outdoor activities. John is an active
diver, sailor and cyclist. Cathy is a keen swimmer
and cyclist, they can offer advice on the many
outdoor activities in the area.
This is an old home with creaky floors but a lot of personality. We stayed for 4 nights because it was so convenient to Dublin without having to be in the city. Free parking in front of the house. Could walk to the Harbor and to restaurants. Owners, John and Cathy, were helpful and friendly.

Great, cozy, quiet bed and breakfast just outside the noise of the city center. Easily accessible to downtown Dublin by mass transit. Rooms are clean and cozy and have their own bathrooms.
