Testimonials

This is an old home with creaky floors but a lot of personality. We stayed for 4 nights because it was so convenient to Dublin without having to be in the city. Free parking in front of the house. Could walk to the Harbor and to restaurants. Owners, John and Cathy, were helpful and friendly. Shower was an electric one – our 1st experience with one and the water could get much hotter than I could stand it. Very small but sufficient bathroom. Our room had a king and a twin bed in it. Nice common area downstairs with leather sofas to relax after walking all day. Also visited Powers Court and NewGrange and Knowth from this location but we drove our rental car to those. Not as many choices in breakfast as we had at other B&B’s but plenty of food and better price. Instant coffee and coffee pot in the room was a nice touch.

This was the first place we stayed on our first visit to Ireland. John was an excellent host. Room was comfortable and the food was very good. Shower was a little strange and and resulted in water getting on the floor. Convenient location to catch the DART to Dublin. Small area to park a car but it worked.

My first experience in a B & B and I am super satisfied. John and Cathy are super attentive and gracious, the room is super comfy and clean. There are tea, coffee and water in the room. There is also a hair dryer. I recommend it for sure, I am loving the stay. The price is fair.

Great, cozy, quiet bed and breakfast just outside the noise of the city center. Easily accessible to downtown Dublin by mass transit. Rooms are clean and cozy and have their own bathrooms.
